Decent size rooms with modern interiors. The canal view adds a unique touch, making it nice to unwind, even if the area isn't very lively.
Location feels a bit too removed from the main attractions, and loitering near the canal doesn't inspire much confidence. The bed comfort left a lot to be desired. one side was noticeably lower, which made sleeping feel awkward. Food options lacked variety and flavor—certain beverages on the menu were simply unavailable. A lipstick stain on a glass didn't help the dining experience either, and the card-only policy can be a hassle for cash users. Accessing reception could get frustrating, as it felt understaffed during busy times.

The location of the Leonardo in Nottingham impressed me. It was close to the train station and the city center, making it easy to explore. I wasn’t pleased with the check-in process. I had to wait in line longer than expected, and there seemed to be only one staff member handling everything. Breakfast also could have been better organized. I found myself clearing my own table and waiting for cutlery. The food tasted good, but the chaotic service overshadowed the meal. Despite this, the room itself provided a nice escape, and I appreciated the complimentary toiletries. I loved the hot drinks facilities in the room but found the pillows a bit too firm for my liking. I had a pleasant stay but felt some areas needed more attention for a smoother experience.

The Superior Double Room was a good size and had an extremely comfortable bed. I really liked how clean and modern the room felt. However, there was only one set of towels, and the shower pressure was low, which was a bit of a hassle. Also, the fire door leading to the bathroom made me uneasy at night. Other than that, everything else in the room was fine!
